Editorial & Social Media Intern

We are looking for an Editorial and Social Media Intern to assist the team with content creation and managment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Editorial + Marketing team planning & executing weekly blog + social media content

  • Conduct research on new wellness trends + current offerings of speaker and brand partners

  • Participate in the writing and ideation of articles

  • Managing engagement of social accounts: liking, commenting, following other related content, responding to direct messages

  • Assisting in social media data capture and SEO

  • Posting to accounts based on content calendar, assisting in adding new content to social calendar

  • A strong writer with an eye for editing & creating

  • A passion for wellness and genuine interest in new wellness trends

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented with strong writing skills

  • Work well within a team and independently on projects

  • Have a self-starter attitude with the ability to multitask

  • Ability to clearly communicate with managers & teammates

Event Management Intern

Our event management interns assist the team with planning & execution for upcoming GOOD events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with founders on planning & executing events

  • Conduct research on venues, arrange site visits, research brand partners & talent, assist with brand and speaker outreach

  • Assist in organization of pre-event planning, maintaining partner & participant spreadsheets

  • Assist with volunteer coordination & execution for events

  • Collaborate with creative team on ideas for on site branding elements

  • Opportunity to travel to events and assist team with on site execution

THINGS WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Have an interest in event planning, branding, marketing, logistics & research

  • Be meticulous with a keen attention to detail

  • Work well within a team and independently on projects

  • Have experience using & maintaining excel spreadsheets

  • Be able to take initiative and have a self-starter attitude

  • Strong communication skills & ability to multitask

  • A desire to wow clients and guests with exemplary customer service

  • Be flexible in a demanding environment; solve problems quickly and accurately
